How it works

From enquiry to invoice.

Here’s what happens from your first message to the end of the first job. No surprises.

Get in touch

Send us a brief message via the contact form or by email. Tell us where the property is, roughly how many acres, and what you’re trying to manage, and we’ll come back to you within one business day. Photos help, particularly of the slopes. If you have photos to share, WhatsApp is the easiest way to send them.

Site walk

Before any quote or booking, we visit the property with you. We walk the slopes, note the terrain, discuss hazards, and talk through what you want the outcome to look like. It’s an assessment of access, gradient, and hazards so the quote reflects the real job, not a sales pitch. This usually takes 30 to 45 minutes. There is no charge for the site walk.

Scope and quote

Within a day or two of the site walk, we send a written scope and day-range estimate. For most properties, the estimate is a single day or a day range (e.g. 1 to 2 days). You’ll know the day rate ($1,300 + GST) and the fuel methodology before we start.

Scheduling

We agree on a date and confirm it in writing. You’ll receive a reminder the day before. We schedule around the weather (we don’t slope mow in wet conditions) and will let you know promptly if a postponement is needed.

The job

Andrew arrives with the Ventrac loaded on the trailer. We work methodically through the property, typically starting with the areas requiring the Tough Cut deck before moving to sections where the finish mower is appropriate. We close gates, avoid garden beds, and leave the property tidy. You don’t need to be home, but we’ll need access confirmed in advance.

Invoice

A tax invoice is emailed the same day, with the fuel itemised by the litre. Payment is due within 7 days by bank transfer. That’s it.
